🔼 Top-10 Win. No. 2 Maryland men’s lacrosse earned its first Big Ten win and fourth top-10 win of the season over the weekend, taking down No. 7 Penn State, 13-8, at SECU Stadium.

After Penn State scored the game's opening goal, Maryland responded with four straight tallies and went on a 7-1 run to lead 7-2 at the break. The last time the Terps held a Big Ten opponent to two goals at halftime was on April 28, 2018, when they led Johns Hopkins, 3-2, at half.

🔼 Hoops Heartbreaker. No. 4 seed Maryland women’s basketball gave defending national champion South Carolina everything it could handle in Friday’s Sweet 16 matchup, but the No. 1 seed Gamecocks eventually advanced with a 71-67 win in Birmingham, Ala.

The Terps conclude their season playing in their fourth Sweet 16 in five years, and also finish their season 25-8 overall, the most wins for the program since 2022-23.

🔼 Home Sweet Home. Maryland track and field hosted the Maryland Invite over the weekend, with several notable performances including 17 event wins and two all-time performances.

Both the men's and women's 4x100m relays saw all-time performances. The women's team of Madison DepryMaya ValmonSam Payne, and Armanie Coleman posted a time of 45.70 seconds, fourth all-time in program history. On the men's side, the foursome of Joshua GoffeTanner LeachRoman Spikes, and Mykel Morman moved the group from seventh to tie at fifth all-time in program history, recording a time of 40.30 seconds.

🔼 Tiger Tee. Maryland women’s golf completed play at the Clemson Invitational on Sunday, finishing ninth as a team at 5-under.

Chananyu Chowiwattana finished 10th individually to lead Maryland at 7-under.

🔼 Split Weekend. Maryland women’s tennis split a pair of Big Ten road matches over the weekend, dropping a 4-2 contest at No. 18 Wisconsin on Friday before bouncing back for a 4-0 sweep of Minnesota on Sunday.

🔼 Sunday Fun Day. Maryland baseball’s bats exploded on Sunday to salvage the final game of its series against Northwestern, winning 22-11 over the Wildcats in seven innings.

The Terps hit five home runs on Sunday — Alex Calarco and Hollis Porter each hit two, and Eddie Hacopian went deep once. Porter drove in a total of six runs, Calarco five, and Hacopian three to lead the way.

🔼 East Meets West. Maryland softball had the tall task of hosting No. 7 UCLA for three games over the weekend, with the Bruins winning all three games of the series in College Park.
