🔼 Won The Fight. In a rematch of last season’s national championship game, No. 2 Maryland men’s lacrosse got the best of No. 1 Notre Dame in Atlanta on Saturday, 11-10.

Eleven second-half saves by Logan McNaney and a four-point effort by Eric Spanos keyed the Terrapin victory. Overall, four Terps scored multiple points, including Georgia native Braden Erksa.

🔼 Te-Biasu At The Buzzer! No. 19 Maryland women’s basketball picked up one of the biggest wins of its season on Sunday, using a Sarah Te-Biasu three-pointer with one second left in overtime to beat No. 12 Ohio State at XFINITY Center, 93-90!

With the win, the Terps have locked up the No. 4 seed and a double-bye in this week’s Big Ten Tournament, and will play on March 7 at approximately 2:30 p.m.

🔼 Winning Trip. No. 16 Maryland men’s basketball earned its sixth Quad 1 victory of the season on Saturday, winning 68-64 on the road at Penn State, its first win in Happy Valley since 2015.

Derik Queen led the Terps with 23 points, followed by Ja’Kobi Gillespie (19 points) and Selton Miguel (17 points) in double figures.

🔼 On A Roll. No. 9 Maryland women’s lacrosse won its third consecutive game on Saturday, beating Denver, 14-10, in College Park.

Kori Edmondson led the Terps with four goals and a pair of assists, followed by Chrissy Thomas with four points (two goals, two assists).

🔼 Winning Weekend. Maryland baseball finished its weekend in Winston-Salem, N.C. with three wins in four games, including a 9-8 win over No. 12 Wake Forest on Saturday afternoon.

The Terps also picked up a pair of wins over Princeton earlier in the weekend.

🔼 B1G Four. Maryland gymnastics finished third at the Big Four Meet on Saturday, scoring 196.125 at the XFINITY Center while hosting a field that included No. 13 Minnesota, No. 15 Michigan and No. 24 Illinois.

🔼 B1G Weekend. Maryland track and field competed at the Big Ten Indoor Championships in Indianapolis over the weekend, with several all-time performances highlighting the trip — Tolu Akinduro (triple jump) and Katie Turk (3,000m) both placed themselves third on the Maryland all-time list in their respective events, while Sam Payne ran the second-fastest 600m in program history (1:30.32).

🔼 Tennessee Trip. Maryland softball traveled to Nashville this past weekend for a three-game series at Belmont, dropping two games to the Bruins.

The Terps won 8-0 in the second game of a doubleheader on Friday, with three RBI from Matti Benson and four hits from Mazie MacFarlane out of the leadoff spot.

🔼 B1G Next. Maryland women’s tennis closed out non-conference action over the weekend, splitting a pair of matches against Old Dominion and Norfolk State.

Kallista Liu, Danielle Hack and Oliwia Orlinska all earned singles wins against Norfolk State on Saturday.
