🔼 Sweet To Elite. No. 4 seed Maryland men’s basketball faces No. 1 seed Florida in the Sweet Sixteen today at 7:39 p.m. ET from the Chase Center in San Francisco!

The top-seeded Gators have wins over No. 16 seed Norfolk State and No. 8 seed UConn so far during the tournament, and are 32-4 overall this season.

Today marks the 15th Sweet Sixteen appearance for Maryland and its first since the 2015-16 season.

🔼 Playing For Each Other. By playing for each other, Maryland was able to rally from 17 down and outlast Alabama in double overtime to reach the Sweet 16.

🔼 Crossing The Delaware. Maryland softball battled with Delaware at home on Wednesday, storming back from a 4-0 deficit to win 5-4 over the Blue Hens.

With the score tied at 4-4 in the fifth inning, Maryland’s Gracie Wilson scored the go-ahead run on a defensive error. Julia Shearer hit a two-run home run for the Terps, while Mazie MacFarlane, Matti Benson and Sam Bean also drove in runs. Aubrey Wurst earned the win in relief.

🔼 Duck Call. No. 8 Maryland women’s lacrosse is back in College Park today, hosting Oregon at 5 p.m. at the Field Hockey and Lacrosse Complex.

The Ducks are 5-5 so far overall and 0-3 in conference play in their first season as members of the Big Ten.
