🔼 A Sweet Marathon! It took a 17-point comeback and two overtimes, but by the time the final buzzer sounded on Monday, No. 4 seed Maryland women’s basketball punched its ticket to the Sweet 16 with an 111-108 win over No. 5 seed Alabama at XFINITY Center!
No. 18 ranked Maryland will make its 12th Sweet 16 appearance under Brenda Frese as it will play No. 1 seed South Carolina on Friday, March 28. It will be Maryland's 17th Sweet 16 appearance in program history overall and its second in the last three years.
