🔼 Let’s Dance. No. 4 seed Maryland men’s basketball tips it up in the first round of the NCAA Tournament today out in Seattle against No. 13 seed Grand Canyon at 4:35 p.m. ET on TBS!

The Antelopes are 26-7 this season and earned a spot in the NCAA Tournament thanks to a WAC Tournament win, including a victory over No. 1 seed Utah Valley in the championship game.

The winner of today’s game between the Terps and the ‘Lopes will play the winner of No. 5 seed Memphis vs. No. 12 seed Colorado State on Sunday.

🔼 Tourney Time. No. 4 seed Maryland women’s basketball kicks off its NCAA Tournament run at home this weekend, hosting No. 13 seed Norfolk State tomorrow at 4 p.m. on ESPN.

The Spartans are 30-4 this season and are winners of 19 in a row, winning the MEAC Tournament to earn a bid into the NCAA Tournament.

Tomorrow’s winner will play the winner of No. 5 seed Alabama vs. No. 12 seed Green Bay on Monday for a spot in the Sweet 16.

One Maryland Collective is offering an opportunity for you to bid on signed memorabilia from the 2024-2025 Maryland Men’s Basketball team. Items include posters, basketballs, and even a chess board signed by 2025 Big Ten Freshman of the Year Derik Queen. All proceeds will go directly to supporting NIL opportunities for Maryland Basketball student-athletes!

🔼 Day 1 Down. Maryland wrestling’s first day at the NCAA Championships in Philadelphia was highlighted by Jaxon Smith advancing to today’s quarterfinal round thanks to a pair of first-period pins!

🔼 B1G Opener. No. 1 Maryland men’s lacrosse opens Big Ten play this weekend, welcoming Michigan to SECU Stadium tomorrow at noon.

With a win, the Terps would move to 8-0 for the third time under head coach John Tillman since he was hired in 2011. The two other seasons were 2021, when Maryland was undefeated heading into the NCAA Championship game, and 2022, when the Terps went a perfect 18-0 and captured the school's fourth NCAA Championship.

🔼 Windy Weekend. No. 5 Maryland women’s lacrosse has a top-five matchup this weekend, traveling to the north side of Chicago for a game against No. 3 Northwestern tomorrow at 2 p.m. on the Big Ten Network.

The Wildcats are 7-1 this season, their lone loss coming to No. 1 Boston College back on Feb. 15.

🔼 Out West. Maryland baseball heads to the new western edge of Big Ten country this weekend, taking on Washington for three games in Seattle.

The Huskies are 9-13 this season but won their first Big Ten series in program history two weekends ago at Nebraska.

🔼 B1G Meet. The postseason is here for Maryland gymnastics, with the GymTerps in Ann Arbor, Mich. this weekend for the Big Ten Championships.

🔼 Back On Track. Maryland track and field is in Florida again this weekend, competing at the Black & Gold Invitational hosted by Central Florida in Orlando.

🔼 Next On The Tee. Maryland men’s golf is in Georgia this weekend, competing at the Schenkel Invitational at the Forest Heights Country Club in Statesboro.

🔼 Back At It Today. Maryland softball fell in its first game in Oklahoma City against Michigan on Thursday, 8-0, at Devon Park.

Bailey Murphy was the highlight at the plate for the Terps with two hits. Maryland plays its second game against Michigan today at 7:30 p.m. ET.
