🔼 B1G Road Win. Balanced offense and stifling defense was the winning combination for Maryland women’s basketball on Tuesday night at Rutgers, defeating the Scarlet Knights 67-59 to pick up its fifth Big Ten win of the season.

Shyanne Sellers led the Terps with 16 points and was joined in double figures by Bri McDaniel (14) and Jakia Brown-Turner (11).

🔼 Rare Feat. Maryland guard Jahmir Young made history on Tuesday night against Rutgers, scoring his 1,000th point as a Terp to become just the sixth player since 2006 to score 1,000 points at two different schools.

The historic night unfortunately came in what was an eventual 56-53 loss to the Scarlet Knights, despite a big comeback effort in the game’s final minutes.
