🔼 Back at the Bob. After last week’s scheduled home opener was pushed due to weather, Maryland baseball is finally back at the Bob today for a 4 p.m. first pitch against Delaware!

🔼 Top Terp. Maryland baseball’s Alex Calarco hit two grand slams over the weekend as part of a 12-RBI weekend against Western Carolina, slugging 1.143 over the three-game series — he’s the Solomon Eye Physicians & Surgeons Terp of the Week!

🔼 Sweet 16. Maryland men’s basketball made another jump in this week’s AP Top 25 — the Terps are up to No. 16!

🔼 Top 20. It’s another week in the top-20 for Maryland women’s basketball — the Terps check in at No. 19 this week!

🔼 Share The Shell. Nine University of Maryland student-athletes participated in the Big Ten Conference’s Big Impact Reading Week initiative at University Park Elementary School on Feb. 24. 

The Big Impact Reading Week initiative empowers student-athletes by encouraging them to make a positive impact by reading books to youth. Through this initiative, the Big Ten uses reading to positively impact the community, championing the importance of education, empathy, and inclusivity by creating a sense of community beyond the playing field.

Under Armour has produced limited edition merchandise available exclusively for new members of the One Maryland Collective. The merchandise features a vintage logo that will be exclusive to Under Armour.

The “Terrapin Throwback” initiative was inspired by Coach Locksley, who last year started wearing one-of-a-kind hoodies featuring vintage marks. The unique hoodies were quickly noticed on social media and message boards, and demand quickly mounted.
