🔼 Top-5 Triumph. No. 2 Maryland men’s lacrosse flexed its muscle again over the weekend, earning its second top-five win of the season in a 13-9 victory over No. 5 Princeton.
Zach Whittier, Braden Erksa and Daniel Kelly all had two goals and an assist, while Matthew Keegan and Jack Schultz each added a pair of goals.

🔼 Over Early. No. 9 Maryland women’s lacrosse scored the first eight goals of the game against Saint Joseph’s on Saturday and cruised from there, winning 18-7 over the Hawks.
Maisy Clevenger (four goals) and Kori Edmondson (three goals) each recorded hat tricks, with Kayla Gilmore, Chrissy Thomas, Jordyn Lipkin and Shelby Sullivan all also contributing at least three points.

🔼 Runs, Runs, Runs. Maryland baseball set a program record on Saturday, scoring an incredible 35 runs in a win over Western Carolina.
Thirteen Terps recorded at least one RBI, including nine that drove in at least a pair. Alex Calarco led the way with six driven in, including a grand slam. Hollis Porter, Paul Jones and Jacob Orr also homered.

🔼 Friday Night Flip. Maryland gymnastics picked up its third Big Ten dual win of the season on Friday, 195.750-194.725 over Iowa at XFINITY Center.
The Terps won three of the four events overall, including vault, beam and floor.

🔼 Postseason Prepped. Maryland wrestling wrapped up its regular season with a 23-13 win a Drexel over the weekend, with the Big Ten Championships now in its sights.
The Terps picked up six wins over the Dragons — Braxton Brown (133 pounds), Dario Lemus (141 pounds), Ethen Miller (157 pounds), Branson John (174 pounds), Jaxon Smith (184 pounds) and Seth Nevills (285 pounds).

🔼 Carolina Weekend. Maryland softball went 1-2 in its stint at the Carolina Classic, winning 7-2 over West Georgia on Saturday in between losses to North Carolina and Queens.
Matti Benson and Sam Bean both drove in two in the Terps’ win over West Georgia.

🔼 Next Up: B1Gs. In its final weekend of competition before the Big Ten Indoor Championships, Maryland track and field picked up six event wins at the Navy Select Meet.
Chioma Njoku (weight throw), Tolu Akinduro (triple jump), Nyla Cherry (long jump), Jennessa Wolfe (high jump), Sam Payne (600m) and Maya Valmon (400m) all picked up victories.

🔼 Home Split. Maryland tennis bounced back from a Saturday loss to Princeton with a 4-0 sweep of St John’s on Sunday in College Park.
After winning the doubles point and winning by default at No. 2 singles, the Terps earned singles victories from Kallista Liu and Tamari Gagoshidze to beat the Johnnies.

🔼 Honoring The Past. Maryland baseball alum LaMonte Wade Jr. remembers the exact day — May 6, 2021.
That’s the day he met Willie Mays, who sought him out after Wade had been traded from Minnesota to San Francisco.
