🔼 West Comes East. No. 20 Maryland men’s basketball looks to extend its win streak to four games tonight, welcoming USC from the West Coast for a 8:30 p.m. tipoff from the XFINITY Center.

The Trojans are 14-11 overall this season and 6-8 in their first season as members of the Big Ten.

🔼 Chicago Hoops. No. 21 Maryland women’s hoops plays its penultimate road game of the regular season today, traveling to the north side of Chicago for a 7:30 p.m. tipoff at Northwestern.

The Wildcats are 2-11 so far in Big Ten play.

🔼 B1G In CP. The Big Ten title goes through College Park — Maryland women’s lacrosse will host the 2025 Big Ten Tournament!

🔼 Hoop Dreams. Christy Winters Scott will never forget the first time she tried out for her high school basketball team at South Lakes in Reston, Virginia. 

Her school fielded varsity and JV teams but not a freshman team. As a lengthy 6-foot-1, 130-pound freshman, she figured it would be unlikely for her to make the varsity team, so she made it a goal to make the JV roster. 

“As a freshman, I'm thinking I got to be on that JV team,” Winters Scott said. “I looked on the door in the girls’ locker room at South Lakes where they posted it. … I was heartbroken when I didn't see my name on the JV team.”

🔼 Under The Shell. Come along with the Terps as they make their first trip to the West Coast for 2 conference games against Oregon and Washington. After a disappointing home loss, Maryland bounced back and went 2-0 on this trip and head coach Brenda Frese got her 600th career win at Maryland.
