🔼 Left No Doubt. Facing a 51-47 halftime deficit at home to Iowa on Sunday, No. 25 Maryland men’s basketball outscored the Hawkeyes by 30 points in the second half to win, 101-75.
The 101 points in a conference game are the most for Maryland since its final game played in Cole Field House, a 112-92 win over then ACC opponent Virginia on March 3, 2002.
Ja’Kobi Gillespie (26), Rodney Rice (18), Derik Queen (18), Selton Miguel (17) and Julian Reese (16) all scored in double figures.

🔼 Orange Crush. No. 6 Maryland men’s lacrosse earned an early-season, signature victory on Saturday, winning 11-7 against No. 2 Syracuse thanks to a dominant second half.
The Terps outscored the Orange 7-2 in the second half to extend their win streak in the series to seven games. Eric Spanos, Bryce Ford and Daniel Kelly all scored two goals for Maryland.

🔼 Off And Running. Maryland baseball went 2-1 on opening weekend at the Swig & Swine Classic in Charleston, S.C. with wins over UAB and Mercyhurst.
The Terps’ bats were red-hot in Saturday night’s win over Mercyhurst, winning 19-1 over the Lakers. Brayden Martin and Eddie Hacopian each had five hits on the weekend to lead the way, while Alex Calarco hit three home runs.

🔼 Distance Dominance. Maryland track and field split its time between the Tiger Paw Invite in Clemson, S.C. and the BU Valentine Invitational in Boston over the weekend, with competition highlighted by Rose Coats setting a program record in the 3,000m in a time of 9:18.23.

🔼 First Draw. No. 7 Maryland women’s lacrosse opened its season on Saturday against No. 6 Syracuse, falling 15-9 to the Orange.
Kori Edmondson led the charge for the Terps, scoring four goals.

🔼 Win Out West. Maryland gymnastics picked up a win on the West Coast over the weekend, 195.725-194.650 over Washington in Seattle.

🔼 Defended Home Turf. Maryland women’s tennis enjoyed a dominant weekend, not allowing a single point across matches against VCU and Towson.
The Terps took down the Rams by a 6-0 final score on Friday, and followed it up with a 4-0 win over the Tigers.

🔼 Terps In Texas. Maryland softball picked up a 4-0 win over UMass on Friday thanks to a complete-game gem from Aubrey Wurst, who allowed just two hits and struck out nine.
The Terps ended up going 1-4 at the Bevo Classic, falling twice to Texas and once each to Texas Tech and UMass through the rest of the weekend.

🔼 B1G Finale. Maryland wrestling fell in its final Big Ten dual of the regular season to Purdue on Friday, 23-14.
The Terps earned victories from Braxton Brown (133), Kal Miller (149), Jaxon Smith (184) and Seth Nevills (285).

🔼 Hall of Famer. Maryland women’s lacrosse head coach Cathy Reese has been announced as a 2025 IWLCA Hall of Fame class inductee!
The official induction ceremony will be held in November 2025 at the IWLCA Convention at Tradewinds Resort in St. Pete Beach, Florida.
