🔼 All The Way Back! Down 19 points at one point at No. 8 Ohio State on Sunday, No. 20 Maryland women’s basketball came all the way back against the Buckeyes to earn its first top-10 road win since 2022, 76-75!
The comeback win, which was led by Oluchi Okananwa and Yarden Garzon both scoring 17 points, is tied for the largest comeback in program history.
🔼 Virginia Is For Lovers! No. 6 Maryland women’s lacrosse delivered a statement win on Valentine’s Day, beating No. 13 Virginia in College Park, 17-9!
Eight Terps had multi-point games against the Cavaliers, highlighted by hat tricks from Kori Edmondson and Jordyn Lipkin and Keeley Block.

🔼 Winning Weekend! Maryland baseball earned a series win on opening weekend, traveling to UNC Wilmington and taking two-of-three against the Seahawks.
The Terps won Game 1, 5-3, thanks to a dominant performance on the mound from Lance Williams and Game 3, 5-1, while allowing just four hits.
🔼 Top Teams Collide. No. 1 Maryland men’s lacrosse dropped a back-and-forth battle at No. 2 Syracuse on Friday, 11-9.
Elijah Stobaugh netted his first-career hat trick while Eric Spanos netted a pair of goals against the Orange, pushing his point-scoring streak to 20 games, dating back to last season. They were two of four Terps to record multi-point nights in Maryland's second contest of 2026.
🔼 Sunday Knight. Maryland men’s basketball traveled to New Jersey on Sunday, falling to Rutgers in a Big Ten battle, 68-57.
Solomon Washington earned his sixth career double-double with 11 points and 14 rebounds to lead the Terps against the Scarlet Knights.
🔼 Still Streaking! Maryland women’s tennis put together another dominant weekend of play, sweeping both Richmond (7-0) and Loyola (4-0) to improve to 6-0 this season, its best start since 2017!
🔼 Good In Greenville. Maryland softball put together a winning weekend at the Purple-Gold Classic in Greenville, N.C., going 3-2 with wins over Buffalo (x2) and East Carolina!
The Terps had strong performances all weekend long in the circle, allowing just 10 runs in five games.

🔼 Tri-Meet Magic. No. 24 Maryland gymnastics competed in a tri-meet at No. 11 Michigan State along with Western Michigan on Sunday, scoring 196.200 overall!
Madeline Komoroski posted team-high scores in two of the three events she competed in, including a 9.900 mark on the floor.

🔼 Runnin’ Laps. Maryland track and field competed in both Clemson, S.C., and Boston over the weekend, with several top-10 program marks set over the course of competition!
🔼 Buckeye Battle. Maryland wrestling hosted No. 2 Ohio State on Sunday in its Big Ten regular season finale, falling 29-16 to the Buckeyes.
The highlight of the day came at 197 pounds, where No. 17 Branson John delivered a statement victory over Ohio State's No. 10 Luke Geog. John electrified the 1,114 fans in attendance with a pin at the 3:40 mark, securing the first top-10 win of his career.
