🔼 Sensational Smikle. Maryland women’s basketball’s Kaylene Smikle earned a pair of honors on Monday — the Big Ten’s fifth-leading scorer was named the conference’s Player of the Week, as well as Solomon Eye Physicians & Surgeons Terp of the Week!

Smikle averaged 28.5 points, 8.5 rebounds, 58% from the field and went 17-19 from the free throw line in the Terrapins' two West Coast wins.

🔼 Not 1, Not 2, Not 3. For the fourth time this season, Maryland’s Derik Queen has been named the Big Ten Freshman of the Week!

Queen finished last week averaging 21 points 11.5 rebounds, and 3.5 assists. Queen was 12-of-23 (52.1%) from the floor across both games, adding three blocks and a pair of steals.

🔼 Tune In. The Maryland Lacrosse Show, presented by the Greene Turtle, is set to kick off on Thursday, Feb. 13. The show, now in its second year, will feature both men's and women's lacrosse and will be headlined by men's head coach John Tillman and women's head coach Cathy Reese, with Tyler Lochte as the host.

Under Armour has produced limited edition merchandise available exclusively for new members of the One Maryland Collective. The merchandise features a vintage logo that will be exclusive to Under Armour.

The “Terrapin Throwback” initiative was inspired by Coach Locksley, who last year started wearing one-of-a-kind hoodies featuring vintage marks. The unique hoodies were quickly noticed on social media and message boards, and demand quickly mounted.
