Maryland head baseball coach Matt Swope recently joined Hunter Pence on the Perfect Game College Baseball Show, where Pence was quite bullish on Swope’s ability to develop talent!

🔼 Streak Snapped. Maryland men’s basketball took a 29-22 lead into halftime on Sunday at Minnesota, but a second-half surge from the Gophers ended the Terps’ 10-game win streak in the series, 65-62.

Jahmir Young scored 20 points and pulled down eight boards, while Donta Scott and Julian Reese both scored 14.

🔼 Battled To Bronze. Four Maryland wrestlers — Braxton Brown (133 pounds), Kal Miller (141), Ethen Miller (149) and Michael North (157) — grappled their way to third-place finishes over the weekend at the Franklin & Marshall Open.

Twenty-five Terps wrestled in total, including King Sandoval (133), who after dropping his first match of the day rattled off four straight pins to close out his tournament.
