🔼 Road Winner. Playing its second road contest in four days, Maryland women’s basketball took down Minnesota in Minneapolis on Wednesday, 72-64.
Shyanne Sellers had 15 points, eight assists, three rebounds and three steals, and was joined in double figures by Allie Kubek (15 points) and Lavender Briggs (13).

🔼 Preseason Hype. We’re just over a month out from Maryland men’s and women’s lacrosse starting its respective seasons, and the hype train is already rolling.
USA Lacrosse released its preseason polls on Wednesday, and it doesn’t take long to find the Terps — the men are ranked No. 5, and the women are right there at No. 6!
🔼 A Passion To Give Back. Over a decade ago, former Maryland men’s basketball player Travis Garrison had a conversation with a group of guys who covered high school sports outside of an IHOP, sharing advice and being transparent about his life experiences.
Several months later, one of the individuals reached out to Garrison saying he should write a book about his journey. That suggestion started Garrison’s career after basketball.
