📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Three And D. Maryland men’s basketball knocked down 11 3-pointers and held Nebraska to under 40% shooting in a 73-51 win on Saturday!

Julian Reese had a dominant day on both ends, scoring 15 points and grabbing 16 rebounds, while Jamie Kaiser, Jr. set a career-high with 14 points on 4-of-5 3-point shooting.

The Terps have now won four-of-six in Big Ten play and have jumped all the way up to fifth place in the conference standings!

🔼 Red-Hot Lions. Maryland women’s basketball ran into a red-hot Penn State team on Sunday, losing 112-76 to the Nittany Lions.

Penn State shot 62% from the field overall and 62% from 3-point range, and 90% from the free-throw line.

Jakia Brown-Turner led the Terps with 21 points and six rebounds.

🔼 Fast And Far. It was a fantastic weekend in NYC for Maryland track & field, with one win and several very fast times!

Jeff Kline earned a win in the men’s shot put, with a huge 19.33m throw to win by almost two meters and place him fourth in the NCAA this season.

Jayla Bynum (women’s shot put) and Chioma Njoku (women’s weight throw) both earned second place finishes, and Anna Coffin put herself second on Maryland’s all-time list with a time of 9:31.58 in the women’s 3000m.

🔼 Wrestling With Lions. Maryland wrestling and No. 1 Penn State traded wins through four matches on Sunday before the Nittany Lions pulled away for a 42-6 win over the Terps.

No. 21 Braxton Brown at 133 pounds and No. 14 Ethen Miller at 149 both won their matches, both picking up first period takedowns to gain control of their respective bouts.

🔼 Won One. Out on the west coast for the weekend, Maryland women’s tennis picked up a big win against UNLV in the ITA Kickoff before falling to No. 2 Stanford.

The Terps lost the doubles point against the Rebels, but bounced back with wins from Minorka Miranda, Kallista Liu, Diya Challa and Francesca Feodorov in singles to win 4-1.

Stanford took down Maryland, 4-0, in the title match.

🔼 First Setback. No. 21 Maryland gymnastics lost for the first time this season over the weekend against No. 17 Minnesota, 196.725 - 195.600.

Taylor Rech led on vault (9.750) and floor (9.775) for the Terps, Tasha Brozowski led on bars (9.650) and Emma Silberman (9.750) led on beam.
