🔼 Ride The Wave. With Jahmir Young’s game-winning buzzer beater against Iowa on Wednesday serving as the momentum, Maryland men’s basketball is back home tomorrow hosting Nebraska at noon on the Big Ten Network.

The Huskers are 15-5 on the year and 5-4 in conference play, but just 1-4 in true road games this season.

Saturday’s game will serve as the Terps’ “Blackout Game” with tons of awesome promotions involved:

🔼 B1G Test. There are only so many opportunities to play the top team in the country, and Maryland wrestling gets one this weekend — No. 1 Penn State is in town to wrestle the Terps at noon this Sunday on the Big Ten Network!

The Nittany Lions are 6-0 on the season, with each of its 10 probable wrestlers ranked in the top-12, eight of them landing in the top-five.

🔼 Back Out There. After traveling to Ann Arbor on Wednesday of this week, Maryland women’s basketball is back on the road this Sunday at Penn State for a 1 p.m. tipoff.

The Terps have won 13 in a row against the Nittany Lions since joining the Big Ten, the last Penn State win in the series coming back in the 2003-04 season.

🔼 Top-25 Matchup. The No. 21 Maryland gymnastics team is up north this weekend, taking on No. 17 Minnesota on Saturday at 5 p.m.

The Gophers have five wins under their belt already this season, four of them coming against ranked teams in No. 13 Oregon State, No. 31 BYU, No. 24 Southern Utah and No. 20 Iowa.

🔼 Kicking Things Off. The Bay Area is the setting this weekend for Maryland women’s tennis, which is on the campus of Stanford University for the ITA Kickoff Weekend.

The Terps face off with UNLV today, and will play either Stanford or Colorado on Saturday.

🔼 The Big Apple. Maryland track & field is in New York City this weekend to compete at the Dr. Sanders Invitational, hosted by Columbia University.

The Terps lit up the record books last time out at the Hokie Invitational, with four athletes placing themselves in the top-10 in program history in their respective events.

🔼 Going Way Back. Maryland men’s basketball assistant coach Mike Jones can remember a youth basketball camp he ran back when he was the head coach at DeMatha Catholic High School.

There was this seven-year-old kid who was left-handed and much younger than every other kid there. But he stood out anyway.

Turns out, that kid was Jahmir Young!
