🔼 Meet Us In Music City! Maryland football is headed to Nashville to take on the Auburn Tigers in the 2023 Music City Bowl!
The Terps and Tigers, who have not played since 1983, will meet on December 30 at Nissan Stadium for a 2 p.m. ET kick on ABC.

🔼 Second Half Surge. Despite falling behind early to George Mason on Sunday, Maryland women’s basketball earned DMV bragging rights with a 86-77 win over the Patriots at the XFINITY Center.
Shyanne Sellers filled up the stat sheet for the Terps, as she scored 28 points, pulled down 13 rebounds and dished out five assists.

🔼 Earning His Spot. At one of the most prestigious tournaments of the season, Maryland wrestling’s Jaxon Smith finished as the runner-up at 197 pounds.
Smith’s run to the championship match included a semifinal win over top-seeded and third-ranked Tanner Sloan of South Dakota State, who is a four-time NCAA qualifier and was the national runner-up last year at 197 pounds.
🔼 Bounce Back Better. Maryland men’s basketball couldn’t overcome a 12-point halftime deficit at Indiana on Friday night, dropping its Big Ten road opener 65-53 in Bloomington.
Jahmir Young and Julian Reese once again led the Terps, scoring 20 and 14 points, respectively.

Chioma Njoku (women’s weight throw), Armanie Coleman (women’s 60m dash), Aaron Abedin (men’s 400m) and Kami Joi Hickson (women’s 1000m) all claimed titles.
