🔼 XFINITY Upgrades! Maryland Athletics continues to upgrade and enhance the fan experience — on Tuesday, the department announced a new videoboard and sound system for the 2024-25 season that will be a 400 percent increase in size and pixel quality!

🔼 Headed To The Heartland. Maryland men’s basketball heads out onto the road today to take on Iowa at 7 p.m. on the Big Ten Network.

The Hawkeyes are 11-7 on the season and 3-4 in Big Ten play, losing most recently at home against No. 2 Purdue.

Wednesday’s game will be a matchup of the unstoppable force versus the unmovable object — Iowa has the top-ranked offense in the Big Ten (86.1 ppg), while the Terps have the top-ranked defense (63.8 ppg).

🔼 Midweek At Michigan. Maryland women’s basketball begins a two-game road swing today with a 7 p.m. tip at Michigan.

The Wolverines are 13-6 and are tied with the Terps in the Big Ten standings at 4-3 in conference action.

Tonight’s game is a bit of an unstoppable force meeting an unmovable object — Maryland’s top-five Big Ten scoring offense will be tasked with scoring against Michigan’s top-ranked defense.

🔼 Quarter Century Of Service. Maryland’s Associate Athletics Director and Strategic Communications Officer Jason Yellin has been honored with the 25-Year Service Award by the College Sports Communicators!

🔼 Performing On The Big Stage. At just 17 years old, Jennessa Wolfe won a gold medal for Team Canada in the high jump at the U20 Pan-American Games in Puerto Rico.

The freshman now calls Maryland home, and hopes to bring some of that gold to College Park.
