🔼 Play That Sweet, Sweet Music. So, about Saturday! Maryland football opened up a 21-0 lead over Auburn in the first quarter of the TransPerfect Music City Bowl and never looked back, winning 31-13 to claim its third straight bowl victory!

🔼 Good Times Roll. Maryland men’s hoops won twice during our hiatus, beating UCLA at Pauley Pavilion on Dec. 22 before coming home and taking down Coppin State on Thursday to move its win streak to five games ahead of tonight’s matchup with No. 1 Purdue!

Tonight, the Terps will look to move their home win streak to 20 games against the No. 1 team in the country, as the Purdue Boilermakers come to town. Purdue is 12-1 on the season but lost its one true road game on the season at Northwestern at the beginning of December.

🔼 Close On The Road. Despite a career-high 25 points from Lavender Briggs, Maryland women’s basketball fell on Sunday in a close game at Nebraska, 87-81.

The loss snapped a seven-game win streak for the Terps, who now sit at 9-4 overall and 1-1 in the Big Ten. Maryland is back on the road tomorrow, as it heads to Minneapolis to take on Minnesota.
