🔼 Remarkable Road Win! No. 7 Maryland women’s basketball secured an improbable road victory on Sunday at Minnesota, making several clutch plays down the stretch in a 100-99 double-overtime win over the Gophers!
When all seemed lost in double overtime, a miraculous 8-0 run in just nine seconds put Maryland back within a point. A layup from Saylor Poffenbarger put the Terps ahead and Maryland outlasted Minnesota to capture its first overtime win on the road since 2012 and first double-OT road win in program history.
🔼 Wrapped Up. No. 4 Maryland men’s soccer’s historic season came to a close over the weekend, falling at home to Washington, 3-1, in an NCAA Quarterfinal matchup.
The Terps end the season with a Big Ten regular season championship, a record six First-Team All-Big Ten selections, multiple major individual award winners, and an undefeated regular season.
🔼 Away From Home. Maryland men’s basketball fell on the road in its Big Ten opener over the weekend, 83-64, at Iowa.
Pharrel Payne's 17 points and career-high 14 rebounds gave him his second straight double-double, his third of the season and his 11th of his career. He's scored in double figures in all nine games he's played in for Maryland this season and has scored 15+ points in six of them.
🔼 On The Mat. Maryland wrestling continued its strong start to the season over the weekend, picking up a dual win over American on Friday before earning five top-five finishes at the Patriot Open hosted by George Mason on Sunday!

🔼 Runnin’ Around. Maryland track and field got off to a hot start in its indoor season opener at Navy over the weekend, winning six events at the Wesley A. Brown Field House!
