The Crimson were 20-12 a season ago, and return four of their five leading scorers from a team that played in the Ivy League tournament championship game.

🔼 Took Two Overtimes. No. 8 Maryland field hockey battled No. 1 Northwestern all day in the championship game of the Big Ten Tournament on Sunday, ultimately falling 1-0 in double overtime to the Wildcats.

🔼 Top-10 Takedown. Despite a record-setting performance to start the game from Taulia Tagovailoa, Maryland football couldn’t keep pace with No. 9 Penn State in a 51-15 loss at SECU Stadium.

Trophy Terps! Maryland had quite the impact on the Big Ten men’s soccer postseason awards list, which came out over the weekend!

Kimani Stewart-Baynes was named the 2023 Big Ten Freshman of the Year and was also an unanimous All-Freshman Team selection, while William Kulvik earned All-Big Ten Second Team honors and Kento Abe was Maryland’s Big Ten Sportsmanship Award honoree.
