“If you can’t fly then run,

If you can’t run then walk,

If you can’t walk then crawl,

But whatever you do, you have to keep moving forward.” - Martin Luther King, Jr.

Today, we pause to honor a man that moved our country and our society forward in so many ways. As we celebrate victories, moments and stories in each and every Brew, let us remember those who helped pave the paths for us.

We will let her explain further, in her own words.

🔼 Welcome Back, Coach. Maryland head football coach Michael Locksley has announced that Aazaar Abdul-Rahim has joined his coaching staff as the Co-Defensive Coordinator, Associate Head Coach for Defense and cornerbacks coach.

Abdul-Rahim is a Washington, D.C. native and previously coached at Maryland from 2016-18.

🔼 Trio Of Top-10s. It was a successful weekend for Maryland track & field at the Nittany Lion Challenge, as three Terps claimed top-10 times in school history in their respective events.

Victoria Teasley is now sixth all-time in the women’s 60m with a time of 7.54 seconds, Kevin Collins is now fifth in the men’s 60m at 6.83 seconds, and Tolu Akinduro is sixth in the women’s triple jump at 12.25m.

🔼 On The Board. No. 21 Maryland wrestling picked up its first Big Ten dual win of the year on Sunday, a dominant 29-15 showing over Northwestern.

Maryland won six of 10 matches on the day, with the gap in team points thanks to five bonus-point wins for the Terps.
