๐ข ONE BIG THING
Honoring A Legend. Chris Cowdrey was a fantastic teammate and captain of the Maryland football team during the early 1970s before dedicating his life to the Marine Corps, eventually becoming a General and completing a military career that spanned approximately 40 years.
After his retirement from the Marine Corps, Cowdrey was diagnosed with glioblastoma, and fought the disease for five and a half years before ultimately passing away in June of 2020.
This weekend, as part of Maryland footballโs Military Appreciation Day, Cowdrey will be honored for all he did for the country and his family will be recognized during the gameโs honorary captain recognition.
