🔼 Golden Opportunity! One of the storied DMV rivalries returns as Maryland men’s basketball hosts Georgetown on Friday night at the XFINITY Center for a Gold Rush presented by Ocean City Tourism!

This will mark the first matchup between the two programs since Nov. 15, 2016 when they played at the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C., as part of the Gavitt Games. 

🔼 Title On The Line. No. 1 Maryland men’s soccer travels to East Lansing, Mich., today to close out the regular season against Michigan State at 8 p.m.

A win against the Spartans (5-7-3) would clinch an outright Big Ten regular season title for the Terps.

🔼 Keeping Momentum. No. 10 Maryland women’s basketball won big again on Thursday night, beating UMBC, 87-54, to improve to 2-0 on the season.

Isimenme Ozzy-Momodu and Oluchi Okananwa led the Terps with 15 points apiece, with Yarden Garzon (12 points) and Saylor Poffenbarger (11 points) rounding out the double-digit scorers.

🔼 Knight Time. Maryland football hits the road this weekend for a Big Ten matchup at Rutgers (4-5, 1-5 B1G) tomorrow at 2:30 p.m. on FS1!

The Terps have won three of their last four games against the Scarlet Knights, including a 42-24 win the last time they played in Piscataway in 2023.

🔼 Embrace The Journey. Maryland wrestling is back on the mat for its second event of the season, traveling to Bethlehem, Pa., this Sunday for the Journeymen Collegiate Classic.

🔼 Home Sweet Home. Maryland volleyball will spend the upcoming weekend at home, welcoming both Ohio State and Michigan to the Schanwald Pavilion.

The Buckeyes (3-17, 0-12 B1G) will be in town tomorrow for a 1 p.m. matchup before the Wolverines (15-8, 5-7 B1G) travel to College Park on Sunday at noon.

🔼 Fell Short. No. 2 seed Maryland field hockey fell one goal short in a Big Ten Tournament semifinal matchup to No. 7 seed Ohio State on Thursday, 2-1.

The Terps will now head back to College Park to await their NCAA Tournament fate in Sunday's selection show, which will air at 10 p.m. on NCAA.com.

🐢 ONE BIG THING

🔼 Lending A Hand. Maryland Legends and former NFL players Shawne Merriman and AJ Francis are hosting their annual canned food and coat drives, respectively, at the Maryland vs. Michigan football game on November 22. 

Abbott and Big Ten will host 12 "We Give Blood" Weekly One-Up Challenges. These mini competitions will pit two Big Ten schools against each other to see which can show up to donate the most during the week. Everyone from the winning school who showed up to donate, at any time during the campaign, will have a chance to win select memorable experiences offered by the universities.

This week’s One-Up Challenge is Maryland vs Rutgers. The last day to donate is 11/7. Learn more here.
