🔼 Terps On Top! Maryland men’s soccer has jumped to the top of the United Soccer Coaches Poll for the first time since the end of the 2019 season!

The Terps hold a 11-0-3 record in 2025 while going 7-0-2 in Big Ten play and are at the top of the Big Ten standings after a 1-0 win vs. Washington last Friday night. Maryland is one of just two unbeaten teams in Division I and their .893 winning percentage leads the nation. Coach Cirovski's squad has the second highest scoring offense in the nation, averaging 2.57 goals per game in the 2025 season.

🔼 Dominant Defender. Maryland field hockey goalkeeper Alyssa Klebasko has been named the Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week for the final week of regular season play!

Klebasko, who receives her second conference honor of the season, helped No. 11 Maryland secure the 4-0 shutout win over Northeastern. She has recorded six shutouts this season to bring her career total to 17.

🔼 Top Terp. Maryland cross country’s Rose Coats is the Solomon Eye Physicians & Surgeons Terp of the Week!

With a 10th-place individual finish, Coats became the Terps' first-ever All-Big Ten First Team performer as she led Maryland at the Big Ten Championship last week hosted by Michigan State.

🔼 Raising Awareness. Terrapin student-athletes recently partnered with Project Life Movement to bring support and awareness about a life-saving organization to UMD’s campus!

The Maryland Basketball Radio Show will record at noon at Ledo Pizza throughout the 2025-26 season before airing across the Maryland Sports Radio Network at 7 p.m.!

🔼 Passion In The Works. Maryland kicker Sean O’Haire grew up playing a different brand of football, but it led him to what’s already become an impressive collegiate kicking career.

Abbott and Big Ten will host 12 "We Give Blood" Weekly One-Up Challenges. These mini competitions will pit two Big Ten schools against each other to see which can show up to donate the most during the week. Everyone from the winning school who showed up to donate, at any time during the campaign, will have a chance to win select memorable experiences offered by the universities.

This week’s One-Up Challenge is Maryland vs Rutgers. The last day to donate is 11/7. Learn more here.
