🔼 Made A Statement! No. 7 Maryland women’s basketball earned its biggest win of the season on Wednesday, beating No. 16 Kentucky in the Discover Puerto Rico Classic, 74-66!
Kaylene Smikle led Maryland with a season-high 22 points, with nine of them coming from her strong day from the charity stripe. She recorded her 35th-career 20+ point game as her Terps made a statement south of the border.
🔼 Tide Tilt. Maryland men’s basketball wrapped up its trip to the Players Era Championship in Las Vegas on Wednesday night with a 105-72 loss to No. 8 Alabama.
Darius Adams continued his impressive start to his freshman season with a career-high 20 points (5-of-7 from three), three rebounds and a steal. Adams has scored in double figures in each of his last six games.
🔼 Midweek Matchup. Maryland volleyball lost its penultimate match of the regular season on Wednesday in three sets to Washington at the Schanwald Pavilion.
Sydney Bryant had a big day for the Terps with 13 kills, two digs and a pair of blocks. She led the charge in the competitive second set and finished the day with a .333 hitting percentage.

🔼 Thankful Terps. It's a week for thankfulness and counting blessings all over the country. Here in College Park, the Terps aren't taking their opportunities to play for Maryland for granted.
