🔼 Happy Terpsgiving! Terpsgiving was once again a successful effort as Maryland’s student-athletes worked hard to give back to the local community. 

Facilitated through Maryland Made, student-athletes, coaches and athletic staff participated in Terpsgiving to fight food insecurity in College Park. They held a food drive from Sept. 30 to Oct. 30 and collected non-perishable food donations in designated campus locations, including Gossett Hall, Jones-Hill House, Varsity Team House, and XFINITY Center.

🔼 Welcome Back. After its 6-0 start, including a pair of wins over then-No. 11 Duke and on the road at Syracuse, Maryland women’s basketball has made its return to the AP Top 10!

🔼 Top Freshman. Maryland men’s basketball’s Derik Queen has had a great week — after earning MVP honors at the Saatva Empire Classic game against Villanova, he also earned Big Ten Freshman of the Week honors!

Under Armour has produced limited edition merchandise available exclusively for new members of the One Maryland Collective. The merchandise features a vintage logo that will be exclusive to Under Armour.

The “Terrapin Throwback” initiative was inspired by Coach Locksley, who last year started wearing one-of-a-kind hoodies featuring vintage marks. The unique hoodies were quickly noticed on social media and message boards, and demand quickly mounted.

🔼 Semester Of Hard Work. Maryland Made’s Gossett Fellows Capstone Presentations, held on Nov. 18 in Gossett Hall, celebrated the culmination of a semester of career development, community engagement and personal growth for University of Maryland student-athletes!
