🔼 Connect Four. No. 9 Maryland women’s basketball pushed its record to 4-0 on Thursday night, beating Towson at XFINITY Center, 88-70!

Addi Mack (15 points) and Kaylene Smikle (13 points) led the Terps in scoring off the bench, with Oluchi Okananwa, Yarden Garzon and Breanna Williams all contributing 10 points each.

🔼 Terrific Terps! Maryland men's soccer was well represented in the Big Ten Postseason Awards, collecting six All-Big Ten First Team selections, one Second Team nod, two All-Freshman honors, and three major awards!

Luca Costabile, Lasse Kelp, Leon Koehl, Sadam Masereka, Laurin Mack and Stephane Njike were all named All-Big Ten First Team, a program record. Kelp was also named the Defensive Player of the Year, Mack the Goalkeeper of the Year and Sasho Cirovski was named Coach of the Year.

🔼 Pop The Champaign. Maryland football is on the road this weekend, traveling to the Land of Lincoln tomorrow for a 3:30 p.m. kickoff at Illinois on FS1.

Tomorrow’s game is just the fourth all-time between the two programs, with the Terps winning two of the previous three matchups.

🔼 Matchup in Milwaukee. Maryland men’s basketball hits the road this weekend, traveling to the state of Wisconsin for a marquee matchup against Marquette tomorrow at 2 p.m. on Peacock!

🔼 Race Day. Maryland cross country toes the postseason line again this weekend, racing at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional Championships in Bethlehem, Pa. for a chance to qualify for the NCAA Championships next weekend in Columbia, Mo.

🔼 Travelin’ Terps. Maryland volleyball hits the road for a pair of Big Ten matches against ranked teams this weekend, playing No. 9 Purdue (21-3, 12-2 B1G) today at 7 p.m. before heading to No. 18 Indiana (19-5, 10-4 B1G) on Sunday.

🔼 Mat Throwdown. Maryland wrestling heads to Charleston, S.C. this weekend for the Throwdown on the Yorktown, taking on Gardner-Webb and The Citadel in a tri-meet held aboard the USS Yorktown.

🐢 ONE BIG THING

🔼 Remembering Marcos Bronfman. Marcos Bronfman ’81, a Terrapin Club Past President and longtime supporter of Maryland Athletics and the University of Maryland, passed away on Oct. 31 after an arduous battle with aggressive cancer. 

Bronfman was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1960 and grew up in Bethesda, Maryland. He attended Walt Whitman High School and graduated from the University of Maryland in 1981 with a business and management degree. He went on to earn an MBA from George Washington University and enjoyed a long career in finance and consulting, but his heart never left College Park.
