🔼 Ticket Punched! The Maryland women’s tennis doubles team of Emma Ghirardato and Ema Kovacevic has qualified for the NCAA Fall Doubles Championship after a strong showing at the ITA Sectionals Championship in Chapel Hill, N.C.!
This is the first time in 14 years that a Terps duo has qualified for the Fall NCAA Tournament, a remarkable accomplishment for newcomer Terp Emma Ghirardato. The tandem went 3-1 this weekend in their matches, beating Anastasia Sysoeva and Nelly Knezkova from Syracuse, 5-7, 6-4, 10-8 in the playoff 3-4 final, to clinch their ticket to Nationals.

🔼 Happy Holidays! With the holiday season right around the corner, Maryland Made and Worldwide Terps are once again partnering to provide Maryland’s student-athletes with opportunities to celebrate and find community!
On Nov. 18, the ISA Holiday Dinner will take place, giving international student-athletes who may not travel home for the holidays a sense of community and appreciation. With student-athletes from all over the world competing in College Park, the ISA Holiday Dinner will give them a chance to celebrate the holidays and share their culture with others.
🔼 Top Terp. Maryland men’s soccer’s Sadam Masereka is the Solomon Eye Physicians & Surgeons Terp of the Week!
Masereka lit up the box score Friday night, scoring a hat trick in the first half vs. Michigan State to help Maryland win the Big Ten Regular Season Championship. It was the first hat trick scored by a Terp since 2017 and the first scored in one half since 2005. Masereka's hat trick helped the Terps finish off their first undefeated regular season since the 2016 season.
