🔼 BIG TEN CHAMPS! No. 1 Maryland men’s soccer claimed an outright Big Ten championship on Friday night, using a Sadam Masereka hat trick to beat Michigan State on the road, 4-3!
The victory capped an undefeated regular season for the Terps (12-0-3, 8-0-2 Big Ten) as Maryland clinched the No. 1 seed in the Big Ten Tournament and will host No. 4 seed UCLA on Wednesday at 7 p.m. in a semifinal matchup on BTN.

🔼 Fourth Quarter Fireworks! No. 10 Maryland women’s basketball outscored Georgetown 34-9 in the fourth quarter on Sunday to earn an 85-66 win over the Hoyas to improve to 3-0!
Four Terps scored in double figures — Addi Mack (23), Lea Bartelme (13), Oluchi Okananwa (11) and Isimenme Ozzy-Momodu (10).

🔼 Spring Is In The Air. Maryland baseball has announced its 2026 schedule, which will open Feb. 13-15 at UNC Wilmington before the Terps’ home opener on Feb. 17 against Georgetown!

🔼 In The DMV. Maryland men’s basketball rallied late against Georgetown to get within striking distance on Friday but ultimately fell short, losing 70-60 to the Hoyas at XFINITY Center.
Myles Rice led the Terps with 19 points, followed by Pharrel Payne (17 points) and David Coit (10 points).

🔼 Back And Forth. Maryland football traded scores with Rutgers on the road Saturday, ultimately losing to the Scarlet Knights, 35-20.
The day was highlighted by Malik Washington’s legs for the Terps, with the true freshman quarterback running for 164 yards, including a 73-yard touchdown to open the scoring.

🔼 Trio On Top. Maryland wrestling continued its strong start to the season on Sunday at the Journeymen Collegiate Classic, with Jaxon Smith (184 pounds, Black Pool), Mekhi Neal (157 pounds, Green Poll) and Branson John (197 pounds, Black Pool) earning first-place finishes!
🔼 Two Bouts. Maryland volleyball dropped a pair of Big Ten matchups at home this past weekend to Ohio State and Michigan.
The Terps took the Buckeyes to five sets on Friday before falling in three sets to the Wolverines on Sunday.
