🔼 Hoops For A Cause. No. 14 Maryland women’s basketball picked up another exhibition win on Sunday, taking down a talented East Carolina team by a 76-66 final score.

Contributions for the Terps came from all over — Jakia Brown-Turner, Shyanne Sellers, Lavender Briggs and Faith Masonius all scored in double figures.

Sunday’s exhibition served as a charity game to benefit the Special Olympics of Maryland, Prince George’s County.

🔼 Better Than Ever. Maryland women’s cross country secured a top-10 finish at the Big Ten Championships, tying its best finish ever at the race!

Katie Altieri (34th), Rose Coats (46th) and Anna Coffin (47th) all registered top-50 finishes for the Terps.

🔼 One Up, One Down. Maryland volleyball put up a fight against No. 1 Nebraska on Friday before ultimately falling in three sets, but bounced back in a big way to sweep Iowa on Saturday!

The Terps scored the first goal of the match, a short range strike from Bjarne Thiesen.

🔼 Late Rally Falls Short. Maryland and Northwestern football battled back and forth on Saturday, but it was the Wildcats who ultimately came out on top in a 33-27 loss for the Terps.

The show is set to make its 2023-24 season debut tonight at 7 p.m. at Ledo Pizza in College Park, and will be hosted by legendary Voice of the Terps Johnny Holliday.

Few And Far Between. Maryland volleyball allowed just eight points to Iowa in the second frame on Saturday.

NIL Is Growing. Maryland gymnastics’ Emma Silberman recently participated in a panel discussion on the growth of NIL before the University of Maryland Foundation’s Board of Trustees.

The group spoke about the pros and cons of NIL, but emphasized how Maryland has pushed for the positive aspects of NIL.
