🔼 Final Tune-Up. The exhibition season rolls on for Maryland women’s basketball this weekend, as East Carolina travels to College Park on Sunday for a noon tip-off.
East Carolina is coming off a 23-win season and an AAC tournament championship.
🔼 Downed By No. 1. No. 7 Maryland field hockey finished up its regular season on the road at No. 1 Northwestern on Thursday, losing 5-1 to the Wildcats.
The Terps will be the No. 3 seed in next week’s Big Ten Tournament. The win for Northwestern was its 16th in a row and clinched a regular season conference championship for the Wildcats.
🔼 And We’re Off. Maryland wrestling competed in the annual Red-Black Match on Thursday night, which means we are officially off and running with the 2023-24 wrestling season!
Returning NCAA qualifiers Kal Miller, Ethen Miller and Dominic Solis all earned wins, along with King Sandoval, Chase Mielnik and John Martin Best.
🔼 Road Trip. Maryland volleyball makes the Big Ten western swing this weekend with road matches at Nebraska and Iowa.
The Terps are in Lincoln tonight to take on the undefeated and top-ranked Cornhuskers (19-0, 10-0 B1G), before heading to Iowa City tomorrow to take on the Hawkeyes (8-14, 0-10 B1G).

Maryland’s Mail Man. Maryland forward Julian Reese has been named to the Karl Malone Power Forward of the Year Award Watch List!
The watch list inclusion comes after Reese was named to the Preseason All-Big Ten Team earlier this month. He is coming off a sophomore season in which he averaged 11.4 points and a team-high 7.2 rebounds.
