🔼 It’s Back! Maryland women’s basketball is so close to starting its season!

And you know what that means…

🔼 Embracing It All. Robbie Rogers never dreamed of becoming an inspiration for LGBTQ+ youth, but that’s what he’s become — and it’s something he now wholeheartedly embraces and loves.

Trader Jr. recently led the One Speed Backpack Drive, supplying more than 200 fully-loaded backpacks for J.C. Nalle Elementary School in Washington, D.C.

The Terps hold a one-game advantage over the Hawkeyes in the Big Ten standings, sitting at 4-1 to Iowa’s 3-2.

After the showdown with the Hawkeyes, Maryland has another Big Ten matchup with Indiana on Sunday. The Hoosiers are 0-5 in conference play.

🔼 Heavyweight Bout. Maryland men’s soccer takes on Indiana tonight at Ludwig Field in a battle between two of the best programs in the history of men’s college soccer!

The Hoosiers are 6-3-4 on the season, and are currently tied for fifth place in the Big Ten at 2-1-2 in conference action.

Tonight’s match will also air on the Big Ten Network.

The Illini are 8-10 overall and 3-5 in Big Ten play, while the Hawkeyes are 8-12 and 0-8 in conference play.

🔼 Shared Responsibility. As part of the NCAA’s Diversity & Inclusion campaign, Maryland LGBTQ+ Equity Center president Dr. Kristopher Oliveira shared his thoughts on the topic of “A Shared Responsibility”: Sharing institutional and individual responsibilities and action steps for fostering belonging and inclusive excellence.

🔼 Tough Night. Three goals in the first half from Wisconsin were too many for Maryland women’s soccer to keep up with, as the Terps lost 3-0 in their penultimate match of the season.

Maryland is back in action this Sunday in College Park against No. 19 Indiana to close out the regular season slate.
