🔼 Midnight Mile. One of the greatest traditions in college basketball is back tonight!

Maryland men’s basketball will kick off its season tonight with the Midnight Mile at Ludwig Field, running the traditional mile alongside Maryland students.

The first 300 students in attendance will receive a “Midnight Mile” t-shirt complimentary of Ledo Pizza, and all students will receive a race packet, race bib, pizza and drinks.

Additionally, the Maryland men will host Men’s Basketball Media Day today! Fans can watch Head Coach Kevin Willard address the media live here starting at 2 p.m.

🔼 Windy City Weekend. Maryland football’s October 28 matchup at Northwestern will kick off at noon and air on the Big Ten Network!

The Terps will travel to Evanston for just the second time in school history, the other coming in 2020.

🔼 Awards Season. Maryland field hockey was hoarding awards on Monday!

Sammy Popper was named the Solomon Eye Physicians and Surgeons Terp of the Week for her role in a pair of ranked wins for Maryland last week.

And on top of that, goalkeeper Alyssa Klebasko was awarded Big Ten Freshman of the Week for her combined 14 saves against No. 16 Michigan and No. 9 Ohio State.

🔼 Fall In Florida. Maryland men’s golf wrapped up play down in Florida at the Quail Valley Collegiate Invitational on Monday, finishing 15th as a team at 6-over par.

Florian Huerlimann led the way for the Terps at 3-under par, tied for 26th individually.
