🔼 Broken Record. Maryland cross country’s Rose Coats set a program record in the 6K over the weekend at the Paul Short Run hosted by Lehigh, crossing the finish line in fourth place overall in a time of 19:45.4!

🔼 Sunday Fun Day. No. 11 Maryland field hockey finished off its weekend with a road win at Michigan State, beating the Spartans, 2-0.

Jordyn Hollamon and Ella Gaitan scored goals for the Terps, who are now 7-4 overall and 3-1 in Big Ten play.

🔼 First Loss. The Washington Huskies used a 21-point fourth quarter to erase a sizable deficit and hand Maryland football (4-1, 1-1 Big Ten) its first loss of 2025 at SECU Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

🔼 Main Court Mania. Maryland volleyball hosted No. 16 Penn State in the highly-anticipated Main Court Mania on Sunday afternoon in XFINITY Center in front of the second-largest crowd in program history.

The Terps gave the defending national champions everything they could handle, but ultimately fell in five sets to the Nittany Lions.

🔼 All Square. No. 18 Maryland men’s soccer spent the weekend out on the West Coast, playing UCLA to a 0-0 draw on Friday night.

Maryland outshot the Bruins 12-8 on Friday and attempted eight corners to UCLA's six, but the Bruins' defense was stout, especially in the closing minutes of the two halves. Maryland's Laurin Mack faced eight shots in his seventh-career shutout.

🔼 Tale Of Two Halves. Maryland women’s soccer led 1-0 at halftime against Illinois on Sunday, but a pair of second-half goals for the Illini gave them a 2-1 win over the Terps.

Ava Morales scored the first-half goal for the Terps, her fourth of the season.

🔼 Under The Shell! All who support Maryland Women’s Basketball are a part of the faMily and this sentiment rings even more true for Victor and Lynne Brick. Their daughter, Vicki, who played for the Terps from 2000-04, passed away from ovarian cancer this past April and her name now adorns the team’s locker room in the new Barry P. Gossett Basketball Performance Center. 

It stands as both a lasting tribute and inspiring reminder to live courageously, compassionately and with boundless love.
