🔼 B1G Things Coming. Maryland men’s basketball head coach Kevin Willard brings in seven newcomers for the 2024-25 season, and he’s excited about the team he’s assembled in College Park.

Willard, along with Selton Miguel and Julian Reese, represented the Terps on Thursday at Big Ten Media Day in Chicago!

🔼 For First. The two top teams in the Big Ten men’s soccer standings match up tomorrow, as No. 12 Maryland hosts Michigan State at 7:30 p.m. at Ludwig Field.

The Terps currently sit atop the Big Ten standings with 10 points in conference action, with the Spartans just one point behind in second place.

🔼 B1G Match. Maryland volleyball traveled to University Park, Pa. on Thursday to take on No. 3 Penn State, winning the first set over the Nittany Lions before eventually falling in four.

Samantha Schnitta tallied seven kills in the first set, and Lilly Gunter collected eight digs.

🔼 Headed West. No. 5 Maryland field hockey heads out onto the road this weekend for a pair of Big Ten games.

The Terps are in Bloomington, Indiana today at take on the Hoosiers at 1 p.m. on the Big Ten Network, and travel to Iowa City on Sunday for a top-10 matchup with the No. 10 Hawkeyes at 1 p.m.

🔼 On Your Marks. Maryland women’s cross country is set for its third race of the fall tomorrow, running at the Paul Short Invitational hosted by Lehigh in Bethlehem, Pa.

🔼 Friday Night Lights. Maryland women’s soccer plays its third consecutive road match tonight at No. 7 Ohio State at 7 p.m.

The Buckeyes are 8-1-3 overall on the season and unbeaten so far in Big Ten play at 3-0-2, and also own an unbeaten record at home.

🔼 Take Us Home. Maryland women’s tennis is in West Virginia this weekend to compete at the three-day Martha Thorn Invitational in Morgantown.

The Terps will be represented at the tournament by Diya Challa, Aida Eissa, Tamari Gagoshidze, Katherine Hung, Ema Kovacevic and Oliwia Orlinska.

🔼 Sunshine State. Maryland men’s golf is in Fort Myers, Fla. this weekend, set to tee it up at the West Bay Collegiate hosted by Florida Gulf Coast.

Play at the West Bay Club will begin Sunday and finish up on Monday.
