This season, Abbott and the Big Ten are pitting school against school in the largest blood donation competition of our lifetime to fight the largest blood shortage in a generation.

University of Maryland’s Blood Drive is on October 28th from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. in the President’s Suite at Tyser Tower inside SECU Stadium. Want the Terps to win? Then don't give up. Give blood. Every donation scores one point for your school on the leaderboard.

The winning school will receive $1 million to advance student or community health. Individual donors will be offered a free one-month subscription to B1G+ and will be entered to win a trip to the 2024 Discover® Big Ten Football Championship Game on December 7, 2024.

🔼 Arbor Day. No. 2 Maryland men’s soccer takes its show on the road today, playing at Michigan at 7 p.m. at U-M Soccer Stadium.

The Terps remain unbeaten in Big Ten play at 5-0-2 against conference foes, while the Wolverines sit at 1-3-4 in Big Ten action.

🔼 A Break From B1G. No. 6 Maryland field hockey steps outside of conference play this weekend with a pair of games against No. 13 Princeton and Richmond.

The Terps travel to New Jersey today for a 4 p.m. matchup against Princeton before returning home for a Sunday game against Richmond at 1 p.m.

🔼 West Coast Weekend. Maryland volleyball makes its first Big Ten trip to the West Coast this weekend, playing at No. 11 Oregon tonight at 9 p.m. ET and at Washington tomorrow night at 10 p.m.

The Ducks are 6-2 in their inaugural Big Ten season, while the Huskies are right at .500 at 4-4.

🔼 Carolina Course. Maryland women’s golf is in Wilmington, N.C. this weekend to compete at the Landfall Tradition at the Country Club of Landfall’s Pete Dye Course.

Rounds 1 and 2 will tee off at 8:30 a.m. on Friday and Saturday, with a shotgun start for Sunday’s final round.

🔼 Footie Finale. Maryland women’s soccer wraps up its regular season this Sunday as it travels to Piscataway, N.J. to play Rutgers at 1 p.m.

The Scarlet Knights are currently in fifth place in the Big Ten standings, earning 20 points in conference play thanks to a 6-2-2 record.
