🔼 B1G Split. No. 8 Maryland field hockey split a pair of top-10 matchups at home this weekend, falling in a close 2-1 game against No. 3 Ohio State on Friday before taking down No. 7 Michigan, 2-0, on Sunday.
The Wolverines entered Sunday’s game on an 11-game win streak and had not allowed a goal in Big Ten play all season. Maryland’s Hope Rose snapped that streak with a second-quarter penalty corner score, and Josie Hollamon closed the door with a goal of her own with under three minutes to play.
