🔼 Happy Birthday, Johnny! In honor of Johnny Holliday's birthday on Oct. 15, Maryland Athletics and the Terrapin Club are pleased to announce the establishment of the Johnny Holliday Endowed Scholarship to honor and celebrate the decorated play-by-play voice of the Maryland Terrapins.

🔼 Top-10 Team! The Maryland women's basketball team is ranked No. 10 nationally in the Associated Press preseason poll, released Tuesday!
The Terps have opened the season ranked in the AP poll the last 16 years straight, dating back to 2010. This is the Terps' highest preseason ranking since they were ranked No. 4 to start the 2021-22 season. Maryland was ranked No. 18 to open the season last year.

🔼 First Place! No. 8 Maryland men’s soccer continued its dominant ways on Tuesday, beating No. 13 Rutgers, 2-0, at Ludwig Field to move into first place in the Big Ten standings.
The Terps (8-0-3) are now unbeaten through 11 matches this season, the program’s best mark since 2017.
🔼 Midweek Matchup. Maryland volleyball plays a primetime Big Ten match today, hosting Rutgers at 7 p.m. on Big Ten Network.
The Scarlet Knights are 10-8 overall this season and 1-5 in conference play.

🔼 Top Terp. Maryland men’s soccer’s Leon Koehl is the Solomon Eye & Physicians Terp of the Week!
Koehl had an exceptional night in No. 15 Maryland's win over No. 13 Michigan. With the score tied at zero entering the second half, Koehl scored the game-winning goal on a penalty kick 10 minutes into the second half to put the Terps up. Sixteen minutes later, the midfielder recorded an assist on a goal by Stephane Njike that put Maryland up by two over the Wolverines which is where the score ended.
