🔼 B1G Road Win. No. 8 Maryland women’s basketball pushed its perfect record to 14-0 on Sunday with its 74-66 road win at No. 23 Iowa.

Kaylene Smikle was terrific with 26 points, including 4-of-5 from beyond the arc. Shyanne Sellers (17 points) and Bri McDaniels (13 points) were also in double figures.

The Terps’ 14-0 record is their fourth-best start in program history.

🔼 Ranked Matchup. No. 24 Maryland men’s basketball fell in a close matchup against No. 9 Oregon on Sunday, 83-79, at Matthew Knight Arena in Eugene.

The Terps led by as many as 13 points in the first half and never trailed before halftime, but a run from the Ducks early in the second half gave them the lead. Rodney Rice led Maryland with 19 points, followed by Derik Queen (17 points) and Ja’Kobi Gillespie (16 points).

🔼 Weekend Win. Maryland wrestling traveled to Albany, N.Y. this weekend to compete at the Armbar at the Armory, picking up a win over Lock Haven in the process.

Braxton Brown (133 pounds) and Ethen Miller (157 pounds) both finished 3-0 over the weekend, while Seth Nevills was also undefeated, going 2-0.

Under Armour has produced limited edition merchandise available exclusively for new members of the One Maryland Collective. The merchandise features a vintage logo that will be exclusive to Under Armour.

The “Terrapin Throwback” initiative was inspired by Coach Locksley, who last year started wearing one-of-a-kind hoodies featuring vintage marks. The unique hoodies were quickly noticed on social media and message boards, and demand quickly mounted.

Holmes joins the Terps after playing one season on the defensive line at Florida State.
