🔼 Three In A Row. A Rodney Rice three-pointer with 7.5 seconds left gave Maryland men’s basketball a 79-78 win at Indiana on Sunday, and continued the Terps’ winning ways — Maryland has now won three games in a row, including back-to-back games on the road, and has won five of its last six games overall.
Rice was the star with 23 points, followed by Ja’Kobi Gillespie with 18 points and nine assists and Julian Reese with 14 points and 10 rebounds, the 31st double-double of his career.

🔼 Taking On No. 1. No. 8 Maryland women’s basketball was within striking distance of No. 1 UCLA into the third quarter on Sunday at XFINITY Center, but the Bruins pulled away for a 82-67 win.
Saylor Poffenbarger scored 18 points to lead the Terps, who were once again without Shyanne Sellers and Bri McDaniel.
🔼 Record-Holder. There’s a new name at the top of the women’s 5,000-meter record book at Maryland, as Rose Coats won the event at the Dr. Sander Scorcher in a time of 15:54.62, crushing the previous record by more than 38 seconds.
🔼 Sunday Competition. Maryland gymnastics suffered a road loss on Sunday at Nebraska, 196.325-195.950.
A pair of Terps earned career-highs on beam — Alexa Rothenbuescher scored a 9.900 to lead all competitors, while Lauren Brendlinger scored a 9.850.

🔼 Texas Two-Step. Maryland women’s tennis split a pair of matches at the ITA Kickoff Weekend in Austin, Texas, falling to the host Longhorns on Friday before bouncing back to beat BYU on Saturday, 4-2.
The Terps won the doubles point against the Cougars, along with singles wins from Oliwia Orlinska, Tamari Gagoshidze and Diya Challa.
🔼 Illini Fight. Maryland wrestling had its undefeated start to Big Ten action come to an end this weekend, falling 33-7 to No. 11 Illinois on Friday night.
A pair of Terps picked up ranked wins — No. 6 Ethen Miller (157 pounds) won over No. 22 Jason Kraisser, while No. 13 Jaxon Smith (184 pounds) defeated No. 10 Edmond Ruth.
