📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Hoops In The Heartland. Maryland men’s basketball takes the momentum of its 23-point win over Penn State this past Sunday on the road today, traveling to Champaign, Ill., for a 7 p.m. tipoff against No. 11 Illinois!

🔼 Terp Legend. Maryland football legend Kevin Glover, known affectionately as “KG” to so many, is one of the best to ever do it both on and off the field. An All-American, All-Pro, Hall of Fame center led Maryland to two ACC championships before a 15-year NFL career. But that was just his first act. For two decades he served his alma mater in a variety of roles, including Director of Character Development, Executive Director of the M Club and Director of Player Development.

“KG” is receiving the Gerald R. Ford Legends Award as part of the Rimington Trophy ceremony on Jan. 24 in Lincoln, Neb. The Rimington Trophy, which is presented annually to the most outstanding center in Division I Football, is partnered with Maryland all-time great Boomer Esiason and his foundation. Since its inception, the award has raised over $5 million for the Boomer Esiason Foundation.

Congratulations “KG”!

🔼 Terrific Trifecta! The Maryland women’s lacrosse trio of Kori Edmondson, Kayla Gilmore and Neve O’Ferrall have been named Preseason All-Americans by USA Lacrosse Magazine!

🔼 Playoff Football! The Divisional Round of the NFL playoffs has come to a close, and former Terps Stefon Diggs and DJ Moore both made their impacts felt by reaching the end zone for their respective teams!

Here is how the full Divisional Round shaped up for all of our Terps in the NFL.

🔼 Study Stars! Maryland Athletics programs continue to perform at outstanding levels in the classroom, as the Fall 2025 academic report was released. Maryland student-athletes combined to record a 3.288 semester grade-point average and set a new record for the highest cumulative departmental GPA with a 3.334!
