🔼 At Home. No. 8 Maryland women’s basketball finishes off its three-game homestand today, hosting Rutgers at 7 p.m.

The Terps remain unbeaten on the season at 12-0 heading into Thursday’s contest, earning a top-20 win over No. 19 Michigan State while we were away on Dec. 29. Kaylene Smikle led the way with 19 points against the Spartans, while Saylor Poffenbarger added a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds.

🔼 Out West. No. 24 Maryland men’s basketball takes a cross-country road trip today, traveling to Washington to take on the Huskies at 9:30 p.m. ET on the Big Ten Network.

The Terps finished off their non-conference schedule over the break, beating Maryland-Eastern Shore, 81-66, to improve to 11-2 on the season. Both Julian Reese (23 points, 11 rebounds) and Derik Queen (18 points, 14 rebounds) collected double-doubles.
