🔼 Gettin’ Diggy With It! Maryland men’s basketball’s Diggy Coit made history on Sunday, setting an XFINITY Center record with 43 points in a 96-73 win over Penn State!
Maryland’s monumental first half paved the way for its first conference win of the season on the back of Coit’s incredible performance.

🔼 Out West. No. 12 Maryland women’s basketball closed out its trip to the West Coast on Sunday, falling 97-67 at No. 3 UCLA.
Oluchi Okananwa led the Terps with 25 points, followed by Saylor Poffenbarger with 15 points and Addi Mack with 12 points.

🔼 B1G Win! No. 22 Maryland gymnastics kept its hot start rolling over the weekend, beating Washington, 194.625-193.575, in its Big Ten opener!
The Terps, who improved to 4-0 overall on the season, earned season-high team scores in both vault and balance beam.

🔼 Double The Dubs! Maryland women’s tennis got its season off to a near-perfect start on Sunday, winning matchups against Georgetown and Howard, 6-1 and 7-0, respectively!

🔼 Rewrite The Record Book! Maryland track and field put together several impressive performances over the weekend at the Nittany Lion Challenge, with Maya Valmon setting a new school record in the 300 meters with a time of 37.29 seconds!

🔼 On The Mat. Maryland wrestling was beaten in a pair of Big Ten duals in the state of Indiana over the weekend, falling to Purdue on Friday and Indiana on Sunday.
Next up for the Terps is a home date against No. 1 Penn State on Sunday, Jan. 25.
