Julian Reese collected a double-double against the Bruins with 16 points and 10 rebounds, and Selton Miguel added 11 points to round out the double-digit scorers for the Terps.

🔼 Two-In-One. Maryland wrestling opened up Big Ten competition in a big way over the weekend, picking up dual wins on the road over No. 10 Michigan and Michigan State.
The Terps beat the Wolverines with wins from Kal Miller (149), Ethen Miller (157), Branson John (174), Jaxon Smith (184) and a crucial pin from Braxton Brown (133).
Brown, both Millers and Smith all collected wins against the Spartans, too, as well as Dario Lemus (141), Alex Uryniak (165) and Seth Nevills (285).
Maryland’s win over Michigan was its first over a top-10 team since Nov. 20, 2009, when the No. 10 Terps beat No. 4 Cornell, 18-17. And with their win over the Spartans on Sunday, the Terps are 2-0 in Big Ten action for the first time in program history. The last time the team started 2-0 in conference play was during the 2011-12 ACC season.
🔼 Road Dub. No. 8 Maryland women’s basketball picked up its fifth Big Ten win of the season over the weekend, 83-68, at Wisconsin. The Terps outscored the Badgers 21-8 in the fourth quarter to secure the win.
Bri McDaniel scored a season-high 21 points in her first start of the season, and Shyanne Sellers matched her with 21 points of her own. Kaylene Smikle (18 points) and Christina Dalce (15 points) rounded out the double-digit scorers.

🔼 Legend Lost. The Maryland Football Family mourns the passing of all-time Terrapin great Paul Vellano Sr. ('73), who passed away this week at the age of 72.
Vellano Sr., who was inducted into the Maryland Athletics Hall of Fame in 2012, was an All-American defensive lineman for the Terps from 1971-73. He was named Honorable Mention All-American as a junior in 1972 and then a First Team All-American in 1973. Vellano Sr. was also a two-time All-ACC selection.
