🔼 Flipping Out! Maryland gymnastics got its season off to a hot start on Friday, winning the Terrapin Quad over New Hampshire, George Washington and Long Island with a total score of 195.700!
🔼 Buckeye Battle. No. 8 Maryland women’s basketball suffered its first home loss of the season on Sunday, dropping a Big Ten contest to No. 19 Ohio State, 89-76.
Oluchi Okananwa scored 27 points, pushing her past the 1,000-point mark in her career, while Yarden Garzon added 19 points for the Terps.
🔼 Hoops In Westwood. Maryland men’s basketball battled back and forth with UCLA on Saturday, falling to the Bruins in Los Angeles, 67-55.
Elijah Saunders led the way with 17 points and 12 rebounds, his first double-double as a Terp.

🔼 Wrestling On The Road. Maryland wrestling hit the road for a pair of Big Ten duals over the weekend, dropping contests to Northwestern and No. 18 Wisconsin.
Carter Young (149 pounds) and Branson John (197 pounds) both went 2-0 for the Terps.

🔼 Just Peachy! University of Maryland coaching legend Ralph Friedgen has been inducted into the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl Hall of Fame!
Friedgen was inducted alongside former college football head coaches Nick Saban and Tommy Tuberville, and Peach Bowl, Inc. CEO and President Gary Stokan. Established in 2002, the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl Hall of Fame honors former players, coaches and contributors, as well as staff and volunteers, who have had a significant impact on the Bowl during its 58-year history.
