🔼 Time To Respond. It was a classic B1G Ten showdown that went down to the wire, yet again.

Unfortunately, it was a 37-yard field goal at the final whistle that gave Michigan State a 27-24 victory over the Terps on Saturday in the conference opener for both programs.

Glendon Miller had two INTs on the day, while Billy Edwards Jr. passed for 253 yards and scored three TDS (two passing, one rushing).

🔼 Rammin’ It Home. Now that’s how you celebrate some seniors!

On a day that the Maryland women’s soccer team honored its six seniors, the Terps kept the celebration going early and often with two goals in the first 10 minutes en route to a decisive 4-0 win over visiting VCU.

Sophomore Kennedy Bell scored the first two goals, followed by Peyton Bernard (25th minute) and Delaney DeMartino (70th minute).

The four goals is the most by the Terps since six against Illinois in 2019.

🔼 Weekend Sweepin’. No better way to defend the home turf than sweeping the weekend.

That’s exactly what the Maryland volleyball squad did, taking all three matches at the Maryland Classic with two sweeps and a hard-fought five-set battle over previously undefeated American.

🔼 Mr. Rogers Neighborhood. Newcomer Max Rogers picked a perfect time for his first career goal as a Terp.

Rogers, a Yale graduate transfer, blasted a shot into the top of the net in the 82nd minute on Friday, to give Maryland a hard-fought 2-1 win over Brown.

Leon Koehl scored a first-half goal for the Terps as well.

Up next? A showdown TONIGHT with San Diego State. We need you there!

🔼 Field Hockey Weekend Recap. Anytime you take on back-to-back nationally-ranked opponents, it’s never an easy challenge.

The Terps did that this past weekend at the ACC/B1G Challenge in Evanston, Ill., picking up a 2-0 win over #17 Boston College before dropping a tough 1-0 decision to #5 Duke on Sunday.
