📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Michigan Matinee. The No. 2 Maryland men's lacrosse team hosts the men of Michigan this Saturday at 1:00pm ET to close out its quick two-game homestand.

The Wolverines come into Saturday's matchup at 4-4, with all four losses to quality opponents. With that said, history is against them this weekend - Maryland is 10-0 all-time against Michigan.

Continue to keep an eye on Luke Wierman's faceoffs against Michigan. The senior is in sole possession of fourth place on Maryland's all-time list at 517 faceoff wins, and is 20 away from sole possession of second place.

Want to see the action in person? Tickets are starting at just $10.

🔼 Conference Clash. The Dirty Terps get a stiff test right out of the gates in Big Ten play, as they travel to Iowa City this weekend to take on the 19-4 Iowa Hawkeyes.

The matchup pits two of the preseason favorites in the conference against each other, and although it's an early series, these three games could mean a whole lot at the end of the year.

The heavyweight fight might just be tonight, as Iowa's Brody Brecht takes on the stellar Terps lineup. Brecht, who has a 2-1 record and a 2.20 ERA, regularly touches 100 miles per hour. He has to deal with a lineup that is starting to get very hot, though.

🔼 Bar Is Set. The postseason is here for No. 24 Maryland women's gymnastics, as the team heads to Pittsburgh this weekend to compete in the NCAA Regional Championships.

The Terps will be competing in session II tonight against No. 2 Florida, No. 15 Arizona State, and the winner of Towson/PSU.

Maryland comes into the postseason with loads of momentum, having ended its regular season posting a 197.100 at the Maryland Five Meet, tied for the fourth-highest score in team history.

🔼 This Is (Not) Sparta. Maryland softball will look to be rude hosts this weekend, with Michigan State traveling to College Park to open up the Big Ten home slate at Maryland Softball Stadium.

The Terps (23-8) enter the weekend with their best start since 2008, and a series win over the Spartans (10-14) would only extend that.

Part of the reason for the historic start? The long ball. Maryland has already hit 23 home runs this season, flying by the total of 17 the team hit last year.

🤔 TERPS TRIVIA

Pro Terps. MLB Opening Day really should be a national holiday. Baseball means that great weather (and lots of hot dogs) are officially close.

The Terps were represented on Opening Day, with several players making MLB rosters. Can you name the three alums who suited up yesterday?

🐢 ONE BIG THING

Maryland track & field's Jaiden Ritter and women's soccer's Catherine DeRosa moderated Maryland's first-ever "Women In The Workforce" event on Tuesday, March 29.

The event centered around four panelists: Seun Awotunde (law clerk at Ropes & Gray LLP), Colleen Sorem (Maryland's Deputy AD), Gail Miller-Myers (VP of Customer Success at Dizzion), and Allynn Powell (Maryland's Director of the University Career Center). They talked about how they thrive as women in the workforce, and how they balance work with various desires to have families.

The event was a roaring success.
