🔼 Terp Train Rolling. Bring on William & Mary & anyone else who wants a piece of the Terps.

Maryland baseball is coming off a weekend series win over No. 22 Iowa, a three-game matchup in which the Dirty Terps scored 25 runs.

Heading into tonight's matchup against William & Mary, Maryland has won 13 of its last 16 games and sits at 17-10 overall.

William & Mary comes into the midweek matchup at 18-11 and riding a five-game win streak. That streak includes a midweek win over No. 15 Campbell and a weekend sweep of St. John's.

🔼 Simpkins Is Captain American. Maryland basketball alum Duane Simpkins was named the new head coach at American University this weekend.

Serving as an assistant and associate head coach at George Mason since 2013, Simpkins gets his first head coaching role at American, playing in the Patriot League.

Simpkins was a McDonald's All American in high school before starring for the Terps on the hardwood from 1992-1996. In 119 games for Maryland, Simpkins averaged 9.4 points and 4.1 assists per game.

Maryland softball didn't allow a single run over the weekend against Michigan State. Not one. In three games. Against a Big Ten opponent. That's just incredible.

Courtney Wyche and Trinity Schlotterbeck not only combined for a trio of shutouts, they only allowed six hits total over the three games.
